Photography - UWA  Extension

Dale Neill's photography courses at UWA Extension have been carefully planned and designed for photographers to proceed incrementally, building their knowledge and skills step by step. Knowledge gained in the Beginners course is used as the foundation for the Intermediate and then the Advanced.
Many so called 'Beginners' courses overlook the fundamentals of camera operation and the formation of core concepts.

The courses outlined below make optimum use of your time by avoiding repetition and building knowledge on core concepts. Dale Neill not only has wide experience as a Professional Photographer but also as a Professional Teacher. Dale lectured for five years in the Professional Photography course in TAFE training many of Western Australia's leading photographers.

To optimise your photography learning it is recommended that you attempt the courses in this order:
  1. Practical Photography (Beginners)
  2. Practical Photography (Intermediate)
  3. Photographing Faces
  4. On the Move! Travel Portraits & Street Photography
