Project 2 – Focus Lock An unsharp image is one of the most common errors in amateur photography. This is even more so in digital photography because of the combination of central focusing and shutter lag. The task here is to do a head and shoulders shot of a person placing them to one side. Then follow this up with a shot of two heads and shoulders side by side. Tip: To use focus lock, place the central cross hairs or circle on the subject’s face. Press the shutter button gently half way down until a focus light or audible beep confirms you are in focus. Then, keeping your finger half way down reframe the picture and fully depress the shutter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
